In 2023, to recognize the outstanding contributions made by the PVDF Product R&D Team of Shandong Huaxia Shenzhou New Material Co., Ltd. in technology R&D and promoting China's green and low-carbon development, the All-China Women's Federation awarded the PVDF Product R&D Team of Shandong Huaxia Shenzhou New Material Co., Ltd. the honorary title of "National Women's Civilization Post". On December 7, 2021, Shandong Dongyue Fluorine & Silicon Material Co., Ltd. was successfully approved as a national high-tech enterprise. By that time, all six major enterprises in the park and Inner Mongolia Dongyue Jinfeng Fluorine Chemical Co., Ltd. have been certified as high-tech enterprises, marking a new level for the Group as a technology innovation oriented enterprise.

In April 2011, on the 12th China Chloro-Alkali Forum which was held in Ningbo, the technical roadmap for the chlor-alkali industry during the "12th Five Year Plan" period was depicted. The industrial application of ionic membranes, the development of low mercury catalysts, and the industrial application of oxygen cathode ionic membrane electrolysis tank technology listed as the three technologies in the chlor-alkali industry during the "12th Five Year Plan" period.

In March 2011, the Group’s perfluorinated ionic membrane was listed in the book “Compilation of Achievements from the National Major Science and Technology Achievements Exhibition during the 11th Five Year Plan Period”. The book was jointly compiled by 11 departments including the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance and so on. On September 22, 2009, Dongyue Ionic Membrane, which had undergone eight years of scientific research and engineering technology development, successfully went offline and presented a generous gift to the 60th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, marking the industrialization of China's chlor-alkali ionic membrane.

This marks the official entry of the Group into the silicone material industry. At present, the total amount of organic silicon monomers in the Group has reached 600,000 tons.

On June 29, 2007, the Group organized a grand celebration for its 20th anniversary. Central ministries, provincial, municipal, and county party and government leaders, as well as over 1000 leaders from over 50 famous foreign enterprises, 300 famous domestic enterprises, and universities, gathered in Dongyue to celebrate the festival with Dongyue’s executives and employees. At the celebration ceremony, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the establishment of the Dongyue Research Institute. At the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Group, artists such as Yan Weiwen and Cai Guoqing presented a magnificent cultural feast to all executives, employees, and local cadres and masses.

On May 8, 2007, the 1.5 tons AHF project of Inner Mongolia Dongyue Jinfeng Fluorine Chemical Co., Ltd. was put into production, marking an important step for Dongyue's external investment.

In 2006, with the official approval of the state, Dongyue Fluorine & Silicon Material Industrial Park was established, becoming the first professional fluorine & silicon material park in China. At the same time, Dongyue Park was named "Patent Park in Shandong Province".

On December 4, 2006, Dongyue Park was recognized as one of the first batch of 18 “National Innovation Bases for Promoting Trade through Science and Technology” in China by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Commerce, the only one in Shandong Province. These 18 parks have obvious advantages in innovation capacity, export scale, and industrial cluster construction among their peers in China.

The Group has ranked 4th among the top 500 technology competitiveness of major Chinese enterprise groups, standing at forefront of national top enterprises. On May 12, 2006, together with Nippon Steel Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation, the Company held a grand signing ceremony at Zibo Century Hotel for the CDM Environmental Protection Project. On February 1, 2007, the project was completed and out into production. This is the largest clean development mechanism project in the world to date, known as a "forestation project".

On November 2, 2005, the "Investment Attraction and New Product Promotion Conference for Dongyue International Fluor silicon Material Industrial Park" hosted by the Zibo Municipal Government was held in Hong Kong, with Sally Wu, a famous hostess of Phoenix TV in Hong Kong, invited as the guest hostess. This is the first time that the Company has presented its international image and market position to customers and society through the concept of an industrial park.

From August 24 to August 25, 2005, the "2005 China Fluor Silicon Material Development Seminar", organized by the Company and themed on "Communication, Competition, and Technological Innovation" was held in Dongyue. From August 7 to August 8, 2005, supported by All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, sponsored by Chinese Academy of Productivity Science and China Business Times, and co-organized by media organizations such as CCTV, BRTV, China Business Journal, China Business Post, China Quality Daily, Ta Kung Pao in Hong Kong, International Business and sina.com.cn, the event of “Brand China - Chinese Brands Going Global in 2005” announced its selection results. The brand of “Dongyue Federation” was granted with the “Chinese Brand International Market Competitiveness Award” and Chairman Zhang Jianhong was awarded the “Top Ten Outstanding Figures in the International Market of Chinese Brands”. 

In November 2004, the three major projects of chloromethane, chlor-alkali, and thermoelectric power of Shandong Dongyue Fluorine & Silicon Material Co., Ltd. were successively put into production, extending the industry chain of the company's products. Moreover, it marked the official opening of the Fluorosilicon Material Industrial Park that the Company was preparing to construct.

On January 13, 2004, Chairman Zhang Jianhong was awarded the title of the first China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Influencer.

At 18:00 on April 23, 2002, the 3000 ton polytetrafluoroethylene project was officially put into production, ending the history of low-grade and small-scale production in China. After the project was put into production, the Company successively expanded the 6,000 ton and 10,000 ton projects. The 20,000 ton polytetrafluoroethylene project, which was listed as a national key torch plan, was put into production in September 2006.

On February 19, 2001, Chairman Zhang Jianhong of the Group and Professor Zhu Mingshan of Tsinghua University attended the National Science and Technology Award Conference held by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council in the People's Congress. "Dongyue Tsinghua Green Environmental Refrigerant" won the State Technological Innovation Award.

In 1998, Dongyue and Tsinghua University collaborated to successfully develop a series of green and environmentally friendly refrigerant products with independent intellectual property rights, which became a green "environmental label" product granted by the National Environmental Protection Agency and a product approved and recognized by the USEPA's Significant New Alternative Program (SNAP Program).

In October 1995, under the leadership of Li Shucai and Zhao Sufang, the Import and Export Department acquired the first export contract for directly exporting 20 tons “magnesium fluorosilicate” to Huashi Corporation in the USA. In December 1993, upon the approval of the Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce, Huantai Branch of Jinan Chemical Plant was renamed as “Zibo Dongyue Fluorine Chemical Co., Ltd”, and on October 27, 1994, the "1995 Zibo Dongyue Fluorine Chemical Co., Ltd. Economic and Trade Negotiation Conference and Enterprise Renaming and Establishing Ceremony" was held. From then on, Dongyue began to operate independently from Jinan Chemical Plant.

On May 1, 1993, the Company’s newly introduced 3,000 ton refrigerant R22 project was put into production successfully. The launching of this project opened up a new era for the Company's leading product series of green and environmentally friendly refrigerants. At present, the Company's green and environmentally friendly refrigerant product scale has exceeded 500,000 tons.

On July 01, 1987, the Company's predecessor, Huantai Branch of Jinan Chemical Plant, was officially established. On the same day, the "Anhydrous Hydrogen Fluoride Project" furnaces #1 and #2 with an annual output of 1,200 tons were officially put into production. After 36 years of development, they have now reached 210,000 tons and have successfully built factories in other places.

On February 22, 1987, Chairman Zhang Jianhong led 38 members, so called “first term class of Huangpu” of the Company to visit Jinan Chemical Plant for study. He also took the lead in dismantling the two sets of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride converters with an annual output of 1,200 tons and transporting them back for installation.
